Sollac Tintas supports ECO ESCOLAS PROJECT in Torres Vedras, “recycling all plastic” at Henriques Nogueira Secondary School.
We were asked to help the Henriques Nogueira School with the Eco Schools project. As this is an initiative that is totally in line with our company’s values, the response was immediate: we’re here to help. We needed drums for the project, and we provided what was requested.
Sollac Tintas’ environmental strategy is supported by three main pillars:
Strengthen our environmental management system by continuing to work towards 11139693 ECOLUB Certification.
Optimize the use of resources by improving energy efficiency and controlling the consumption of water and raw materials. Reduce energy consumption in production by 15%, limiting our impact on the environment mainly by reducing our waste.
It therefore made perfect sense for us to help Henriques Nogueira School achieve its goals by reducing its environmental footprint. We believe that if we all contribute a little, the war against waste will be won.
